WE CANNOT TAKE PICTURE. WE READ THE MANUAL AND STILL COULDN'T DO IT. WE HAVE HAD 6 DIFFERENT GROWN-UPS TRY TO GET A PICTURE, BUT NO GO. I BET WE HAVE CHANGED THE "CODES" AND WE ARE NOT IN THE PICTURE TAKING MODE.
I HAVE NEW BATTERIES CHARGING IN THE CAMERA NOW AND IT IS SITTING ON ITS DOCK. SOMETIMES I CAN GET A PICTURE ON THE SCREEN, BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW I GOT THERE.
CAN YOU ALL HELP US?
I FOUND OUT I CAN TAKE IT TO K-MART FOR HIM TO HELP, BUT REALLY WOULD BE INTERESTED TO GET HELP ON-LINE (WITHOUT LEAVING HOME).
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

what model is it , rear sticker, shows moldel. APC makes vast 1500watt ups, not told. first replace of first test the batteries, 9 of 10 times bingo EOL batteries. RIP smt1500 bx1500 SAU1500? ahh has 6 led faults and the manual covers that.
blinks sequentially means AC power lost to the building, wall or breaker to this service panel tripped, loss of POWER
page 11 in your manual read it. it tells both off those

and FRONT PANEL LEDS FLASH SEQUENTIALLY The UPS has been shut down remotely through software or an optional accessory card. None. The UPS will restart automatically when utility power returns.
Try connecting it to another computer if that doesn't work try wiggling it gently and putting it in and out. Thumb drives are made cheaply and are not always dependable. Always get different types and keep back ups.
Did you read the manual for your UPS ? I read it - there was something about lamp ledding - different ledding of lamps and different frequncy of noisy sound can mean different problems - try read manual. I think, your description means that you need to change battery. Battery work 2years +- .
If it doesn't turn the disc it can't read the data and 'know' from that there is a compatible disc inserted.
You may have gotten hosed by the seller. Until you get it to play with a commercial music CD I wouldn't try anything non-standard or home-grown. It doesn't play anything but CD-A music so MP3 and AVI discs would not be recognized anyway.
Before you dive in and possibly wreck it, read this...
I would question that diagnosis, Did you get it online somewhere or did you have a tech check your B+ voltages ?
6 blinks is almost always caused by 2 chips on the "D board", they are both marked MCZ3001D you can order them here if you are a consumer not a tech 800-575-9833. Not to say that the jungle IC & those 2 caps couldn`t cause a dead set symptom but these 2 IC`s are notorious for the 6 blink code, I have personally fixed approx. 10 sony sets with the 6 blink code with those IC`s, hope this helps
