Question about Epson LX-300+ II Matrix Printer
The paper is pulled in with rubber traction wheels on a rotating rod toward the bottom of the paper loading area. If these rubber wheels get slick or hard, they won't pull. Buffing the rubber wheels lightly with fine sandpaper will restore the wheels to the rubbery texture they need to pull the paper. But be SURE to completely clean any abrasive dust out of the machine before use. Hello,
Me is Vikram Kumar Thumu, I have seen your message on the issue related to the HP Deskjet 5150 Printer. I would like to provide my suggestions on this issue.
The issue could be happen due to following below reasons:
1. If you are using wrong ink cartridge for the Printer.

Note **: Your Printer supports below ink cartridges:
Cartridge Part number Black HP 56 (C6656A) Tri-color HP 57 (C6657A) Photo cartridge (optional) HP 58 (C6658A)

Solution 3: Testing the ink cartridges of the Printer
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
To isolate the issue by testing the Printer Hardware functionality with " Reserve mode printing " ( this is also called as 'Back up mode'). This is referred as using the Printer with only single ink cartridge. Your Printer model supports for this feature.
Steps are :
1. Open top access cover of Printer and remove the Black ink cartridge from Printer ,make sure that Printer is installed with Color ink cartridge only . Then close the top access cover firmly. Please turn off Printer and Wait for 30 seconds and then turn ON Printer. Check the status of blinking lights on the Printer. If you do not see any blinking lights on the Printer front panel, then cartridge is fine. We can now go ahead with testing Cartridge functionality along with Hardware test of Printer.
Please do these below steps to test Cartridge and hardware of Printer:
1. Turn the printer on.
2. Press and hold the POWER button until step 4.
3. Press the RESUME button four times.
4. Release the POWER button.
This should print a self test page. If you see any information printed on the page, then it confirm that Printer and cartridge is fine else if there is no information printed on the page then it confirms that Cartidge is Out of ink.
Note: you may receive a error code on the test page, please do not worry about that.
Please do below steps similarly to check the issue with Color ink cartridge..
Open top access cover of Printer and remove the Color ink cartridge from Printer ,make sure that Printer is installed with Black ink cartridge only .
I hope this should resolve the issue. If the issue still persists then you may need to service the Printer once.
