I have a TXM3296HF that distorts the picutre in 1080i. There is a vertical wave that distorts the picture to varying degrees depending on whats going on in the scene(possibly brightness related). It is very noticable at either vertical edge, particularly when I hit the channel guide on my cable since it doesn't fill the entire screen. Any ideas what this could be? It doesn't seem like anything the service menu can solve, but I'm open to suggestions.
Have a tech change your your vertical ic.there is also 1mf 50v cap that is located in the vertical circuit that usually goes bad have it change.good luck.
