Hotpoint WD51P First Edition 1100

Help! My washing machine doesn't seem to be draining. It will still run a wash cycle, but the water does not drain away at the end. Due to the model type I can't find a pump/fluff filter anywhere, and there doesn't seem to be any information on where this would be located on either the hotpoint website, or in the manual. Any suggestions? I don't believe the front base panel screws off, (I have tried) but I could be wrong. Thanks for your help!

The washing machine is not draining water. Have no idea if or where a dryer filter is. This machine is quite ****.....

Two possible cause. 1)drain pump motor faulty. 2)some thing struk inside the pump. it easy to locate the pump ,normally at the bottom near the draining pipe .hope it help

Hotpoint wd440 washer/dryer. 1st problem was it wouldn't drain so I cleared the pipe. Now the machine 'wash' light flashes during a wash. The washing machine doesn't seem to hold the water...

Make sure that the outlet of the pipe is at least as high above the floor as the top of the machine. If it is lower than the level of the water, it will just drain - there is no shut-off valve to stop it from doing this. Please rate this answer.

Hi, i have a hotpoint wf640 washing machine and i cant open the door.it seems like the catch has gone on the interlocking door as ive tried to push the door in but still no go. Is this something i can fix...

if there is water in the drum it wont open, so you need to drop the drain hose low to gravity drain....then the door should open. sometimes this fault is due to a broken door catch utube is quite good for fitting help.

Bosch maxx 1100 WLF 2260uk.it takes water in but washing cycle doesn`t start.if i put in drain program it drains it.but that is all

Hotpoint 800 wm 11 goes through cycle but won't spill or drain

hi there maybe your waste pipe might be blocked from washing machine or mqaybe there is a blockage somewhere else in your plumbing which does happen queit alot? hope this helps

Could possibly be a broken drive belt to the motor or motor brushes may need replacing.

My hotpoint wma56 wont do its fast spin cycle

Have you checked and cleaned the filter on the machine, usually located and the front near the bottom. If so then there is 2 other possibilities, either your water pump at the back of the machine is blocked or faulty, or it's the timer on the machine. A washer won't go into spin mode until it has drained all the water from the machine first. hence the pump has to run. Just remember to drain all the water from the machine before checking your filter otherwise it will end up on your floor.

first off norah, you will need to check the pump filter as there is probably a blockage in there.

secondly guest, sounds like a faulty pressure switch or even a small hole in the pressure pipe, thats why your machine will not stop filling.
