get the technician back as it appears to be a program board fault --again--

Hi,
It seems that either channel selector buttons of your remote or TV are shorted (pressed). To check where the problem is, remove batteries of your remote and if the problem still persists then the problem is with the TV. If by removing batteries the problem is resolved then clean the keypad of your remote.
I hope this will help to solve your problem
Thanks for using Fixya
try unplugging and plugging back in 2 minutes later. go to menu and find channel selection. scroll down to where it says channel. then using volume up and down buttons. will add or erase channel. just play with it and you will see what im talking about. go to channel 4 and press volume up. this will save channel 4 in memory. if no work, try turn on video souce and do a auto program in menu. fixed. enjoy!
I just got the same remote to work. I did the auto scan method in the instructions. turn on the tv, hold the tv and power button on the remote down until it stays lit. Then press the play button, the remote will blink 10 times, press play again and the tv should turn off in a few blinks. then when the remote finishes blinking, press the reverse button until the tv turns on again, when the tv turns on, press the stop button. Hope this helps!
