Cd won't eject

After you hit the button...and it beeps....tap on the screen...where the color display is....not too soft but not so hard that you crack it....then it should open after a few times of tapping it and hitting the button. I found this at another forum, and it worked for me.

Displey problem

May be loose connection on the OEL display tube. Did the removable panel get dropped? Try your local Pioneer dealer for a replacement under warrantee if it's new.

Pioneer deh p730

Has it always been like this? I know that the display inverts automatically to save the life of the OEL...otherwise the brightness of the same pixels being on all the time will cause the OEL to 'burn-in' If that isn't the problem, the OEL is going bad. They can run about $100 and usually aren't worth repairing.
