Can system mechanic coexist with norton security suite

There are other free Antivirus, Norton just slows your machine down, I suggest two of the following: Microsoft Security Essentials, and Spybot S&D 2

I'ts a common problem the Norton activation one, the thing is Norton security suite is a paid service, try uninstalling all software related to Norton, and install a Free Antivirus like AVG, Avira, NOD32 Or Avast

Norton may slow down the performance of your computer,and it is a paid software what i think is instead of going with this you can download any of these free software (avg,avast or avaira) they all are free for one year and do the same thing what norton does without slowing down your computer.

AVG is more than sufficient for a home computer.
Norton takes quite a lot of system resources and slows computers down dramatically. AVG on the other hand uses 2/3rds less resources than Norton and is just as good.

Thats Norton for you! this is a very heavy and memory hungry program, it takes control of your computer and if you have not got enough system or virtual memory it will cause the pc all kinds of problems. To fix this either upgrade the system memory or don't use Norton, use AVG free instead, its a lighter program and lets you have some speed back over the internet.

the problem lies in the registry uninstall norton 360 then re-install this clears the reg then try your key again.

my personal View Don't use norton 360 as it will slow your system down use Kespersky Internet security this is the best one out and also use avg virus program when you switch to kaspesky internet security then remove avg which you can get a free version.

Actually all Norton products slow down the computers. Why dont you uninstall Norton 360, and see whether the performance of your computer has increased,if it does, ill recommend you to install Bitdefender Internet Security 2008, please check link below:
