The value of resistor in the light box color coded

Without a circuit diagram or another actual unit to look at it is very difficult to identify burnt out resistors. Even harder is finding out why it burnt out because most of the time a resistor only burns out if overloaded due to other circuit component faults.

Burnt resisstor on power supply board can't read color code part is r133 whats the resisence

I have a Pioneer PDP-503CMX with a blown resistor that is labeled R133 too. Here's a pic. Based on the color coding, I think it's a 0.1 ohm resistor.

R47 resistor is blown on Neff S5453X0GB/07 control board. I can't make out the value as it is badly damaged - anyone know the correct value so that I can replace it (TY7 is blown as well!).

HI.We cannot really but identify the correct resistor value unless we can identify or determine the color coding on the resistor. Each color has a corresponding value and tolerance as well.If you can't indentify the color coding then you can refer to its diagram usually printed out on the side of the control board or near thecontrol board. We cannot but cannot give a guess value unless color coding is given.Thank you for choosing FIXYA.

According to you your machine's resistor burnt out. This resistor is located above the 240 volt capacitor which white base. change the resistor soon. For color code of the resistor you can follow the manual. You can visit also the product website for tech assistance.

The color stripes on the resistor should tell you.
If it does not have colored stripes, it is a diode or something, and not a resistor. Find another the same color, and measure it with an ohmmeter. Trial and error works if you start with one having greater resistance.

I got this one dead. There is a burnt resistor on the main circuit board ( the one with the on/off sw). Would anyone know what value it could be.

Hello,
You can determine the resistors value by reading the color code bands that are marked on it. The following picture is an example of the color codes and there values.

To show you how to read the color codes on a resistor, I am including a link to a video that will explain how to do this easier than I could probably explain it.

I hope this helps you in solving the problem. If you need further assistance please feel free to ask.

If you would not mind, please rate my help. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank You
