F28 code in Vaillant boiler eco Tec plus 831, how do I fix it?

Cannot find the fault code . There are vidoes on u tube saying how to reset thr code By pressing the reset button . If this does not work youcan ccontact vaillent on there web page . I have a mate who works for them i will ask him as well

Refill system with water to 1bar bleed rads refill again to 1 bar , there should be a filling loop to do this with.

According to the user's guide, the fault code means that the boiler failed to start after 5 attempts. Here is the manual where I got the information. Got exactly the same problem with mine. Manual says f28 = fault in gas supply, gas pressure too low. Boiler will ignite but goes out within minutes? HELP!

IF the weather is extremely cold, and you're getting F28, the external pipework may be blocked with ice. Warm up the external pipes (lag them if you can) - and now see if your boiler will re-ignite.
