You can not block you Facebook account but you can deactivate it by going into settings - account settings - security; below at the center you will see the option deactivate the account.
You have the facility to block your unwanted friends or email id, simply go to settings - account settings; on the left hand side you will see the tab blocking click on it and edit it accordingly.

He blocked your account? Or did you get your account suspended? Either way, it would take getting a new account to surpass the block, and then message him through the new account.

Facebook blocked my account. Why doesn't FB tell

there are reasons why someones account suddenly blocked by Facebook and sometimes they were not informed. Facebook system has gone to being strict in monitoring activities happening inside a person's account. (You are right. They are monitoring all facebook users)

Why? Because of spamming and phishing. Its like a virus that a person's account once infected will send spams on all of its friends. Imagine how many persons there are in a friends list.

However Facebook sometimes mistaken some activities in an account. When someone sends somethings on a group of friends and someone adds a large number of friends, Facebook mistaken it as a spam.

If you are wanting to unblock your account send an email to [email protected] State your reasons why you should be unblock. Ask also the reasons why they block your account. So it will be a reminder for you to prevent your account from being block again. Remember, facebook will unblock account only once, so better be careful.
