Vista cant install jabra bt8030

I've connect my jabra bt8030 with my notebook Acer aspire 5920 however Vista cant install it. i tried to look for the driver online but failed. when im using bluetooth, the sound kinda stuck. i think i have to install the driver for my jabra bt8030 first before i can use it. do somebody got the driver?

I just got the same headset and they don't ship with a driver CD.

Try using Bluesoleil for bluetooth connectivity on your laptop. You can get it from
http://www.bluesoleil.com/
Bluesoleil comes with its own drivers for a wide variety of bluetooth functions so you don't have to hunt for specific drivers.
Please note that your bluetooth hardware has to be compatible with bluesoleil. There is is utility on their website that lets you test the same.

I experienced the same problem when upgrading to windows 7. I lost some functionality of the touchpad buttons as well.

There wasn't any explanation for this when I checked the Acer site and the Microsoft site, except that Windows 7 doesn't support all of the old peripherals or accessories or Vista software that may have come with the Vista computers originally.

Hey,

It is all because the Microphone is not set as a default device to start recording.

Its like your computer has no device for recording even if the computer has connected with Mic.

Just change the settings and enjoy..!!!

My Acer Aspire 5920 touch pad keeps crashing! I dropped the laptop earlier this year, damaging the hdd so had to install a new hdd. OS and all drivers were reinstalled on new hdd with little problem except...

A good step to try would be to flash the bios..

Not knowing if you have vista or xp, i cant provide a link for the proper bios..

but i can give you a link to the acer site, where you can enter the information directly on the support page for the aspire 5920 to download the correct bos.

Acer aspire 5920 laptop is not shutting down.

Try to shut down it trough it frm shortcuts keys given on laptop or you can even re-install windows (if u hav no important data in tht laptop).

Failed vista uninstall

do install the vista only, coz xp could not recognize the sata hd, it gives the blue screen error, if u want to install xp otherwise, install sata divers from the supplied disk with computer.

http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/ftp/ftp.html this is the site where you can download your drivers for Vista. since you didn't mention your OS I presume it's Vista.
