Lexicon lx-7 amp - need full specs on cooling fans for replacement

The two cooling fans on my Lexicon LX-7 amplifier are pretty noisy and I'd like to replace them. I've found a lot of good fans in the right size but I need to verify the specs on the fans before switching anything out. I'd like to veryify size (92mm x 92mm x ??), voltage, airflow requirements, speeds (3-speed?), Pins (3 pin), connector type and any other critical factors. If anyone has the original fan brand and model that would be nice to know as well, although I'd like to find a better replacement. Thanks.

Thanks, but this amp has two cooling fans similar to a desktop computer. It's definitely the fans that are noisy an in need of replacement. The amp has no other buzz or humm or any other issues related to electrical components.

Fan will only start when you blow into it, and when it does start, it's noisy. Where do I get a Marshall replacement fan off the newer Marshall amps? These fans are said to be better than the ones...

Bearings have gone in it... The fans are standard part. Take number off the label and search for the same unit. Note if it has two or three wires. If it has only two wires, replace with one of same voltage and current or wattage rating and of course that fits size-wise. Three wire ones have a sensor and you are best to replace with exact unit.

I am using a Lexicon CX-7 Power Amplifier in conjunction with a Lexicon MV-5 Processor. I have 7 B&W Speakers (2 Fronts, 2 Sides, 2 Rears and one Center). I also have a REL Stentor III subwoofer....

I assume you're wrestling with the choice of using its onboard amp fed by the MV-5 or driving it from the CX-7's unused channel.

Of course either way will work. I'd go with the preamp-to-REL method as the REL engineers undoubtedly gave some thought to the amp design for the price paid.

Attach it to the Sub1 Preamp out

Printer does not print on windows 7 operating system

Thanks for contacting Fixya.com.

As a veteran Epson user, I can usually find out just what Epson offers in the way of drivers for any of their printers, depending upon the version of operating system is requiring printer drivers. This is no exception with the Epson LX 300+.

Unfortunately, Epson only made drivers for the LX 300+ for Windows OS XP and earlier. As of current there are no drivers for PCs with Vista or Windows XP made for the Epson LX 300+.

Here is the link directly from Epson's Printer Drivers & Support page for the LX 300+
Epson LX 300+ Drivers & Downloads Page

If you truly need another Epson Impact Printer which is possibly windows compatible, I would recommend visiting the link below in order to find a more Windows 7 comparable model, if there are any.

I hope this information does provide you confirmation of what you have been seeking for this printer model.

1991 honda accord lx cooling fan

Some vehicles have sensors that can control the electric fan with the ignition off to keep the heat buildup that naturally occurs right after turning off the engine. This can prevent hard starting that can happen with a hot engine. If it is doing this an abnormal amount, the sensor that is operable with the ignition off may be failing. Before turning off the ignition, check to see if the engine temperature is pushing the 'red zone;' if it is, then the fan operation may be normal but your engine may be running hot.

Crate gtx 65 guitar amp mains hum

I had the same problem on my VTX65. I noticed it would oscillate with different effects so I removed the effects module. Problem solved. Now it's dead quiet. I use a Digitech RP500 so removing the effects module was a non issue.

Lexicon Lx-7 buzz sound

Hi chupetin2

If the problem is present with ONLY the speakers connected, that is no other powered devices like subs, or input/output cables, it will be a power supply problem inside the amp. If you have electronic fault finding skills, there will probably be a capacitor in a regulated rail that has failed.
If you do have a sub connected, be sure it is powered from the same mains source as the amp, or at least a GPO that is on the same phase. Different phases will induce mains hum, as will multiple earths. Try also temporarily moving the amp(whilst monitoring the hum) from where it is sitting and see if the hum is being induced into the amp by any other devices

Happy to talk to you more about this. Just ask:)

This is a pretty old laptop about 10 yrs. It does not come with wireless support. It probably has Windows 98 installed on it.
You might be able to set up wireless via the USB port.
