HP3015 All in One - new toner put in but printing very pale

its the toner light or photocondutor light?
Open door and push stop for 15/30 sec.

When you go to print, your printer driver should have quality options. Make sure you're not using "economy" or "draft" mode. Try "quality" mode.

Go online to HP and download the latest driver updates. Install them. Try printing again. If that takes care of the problem fine.

If that doesn't work your toner cartridge may be low. Try putting in a new one and see if that takes care of the problem

If neither of those work, and If you know somebody who will lend you a printer and the necessary drivers, install the drivers, and try printing with that printer. If the problem persists then the is your computer. However I don't think that's what's going to happen. HP used to make high quality printers - now they don't. I had to junk one after a year.

Drivers first - they're free! Toner cartridge second.

1. Open front cover
2. Press the button "Storno"
3. Select which toner you want to reset.
K. : black
M. : magenta
C. : cyan
Y. : yellow
STD: standard toner
HC: high capacitity toner
...

If you don't know which toner you have, you can reset all.

--> change toner when colour on printed page is pale. (putting in a new toner will reset automatically)

go to control panel , sistem and go to administrator divices and update the printer diriver from there

Before you start the installation it would be best to uninstall the old printer driver. Then connect the new printer, put in its disk, wait until that starts to load, and when it prompts you, turn on the new printer. If this helps, Please Rate me! :)

please check cartridge and your printer settings.

It's rare that an original HP would do that? It's more likely that it's a compatible / remanufactured cartridge. is it? Compatibles can be as good as or better than OEM (mine are for example), but there are a lot of "hacks" out there.
Either way, I would return it for a new one, because that is your problem.

I have installed brand new toners that were bad. Fortunatly it was at work so I didnt have to personally purchase a second one to find out. But it does happen, espically with reconditioned toners or off brand toners
