One of the cold switches is broken. Everything freezes on the 2 top shelves of my refrigerator. I want to know how to regulate it.
SOURCE: Fridge does not get cold enough
first the freezer does all the cooling there are air vents in top of the refrigerator that the evaporator fan draws air through then blows it down to cool the fridge in the fridge section you should see an air vent if you don't have a defrost problem then you have an air flow problem first do you hear the fan running if you see heavy frost on the back wall of the freezer wall where the fan is then you have a defrost problem and that's a different repair but if you don't then remove the four screws and pull the panel carefully as the fan is there see if there is heavy frost on the evaporator a large aluminum honey comb so much that air cannot come through it under that part will be an a tray with around hole in it make sure that's is not frozen and the drain hole is open then check that the square hole that goes down to the fridge is clear and check the two square styrofoam intake blocks are clea you an pull them out gently and see if its iced up under there after you check that reply to me on any fault

Sounds like a defrost problem. Check to see if
there is any frost buildup in the back wall of the freezer. If so, it is not
defrosting as it should.
If you don’t know what these are then unplug the machine and let the ice
melt in the freezer overnight with the door open. Then try it the next day, if
is cooling fine then you need to have a service person replace one of the above
items.

check the fan relay and the compressor to make sure it is still working...if not there is a capasiter you can replace to get it to work again

have you cleaned out the coils underneath the fridge? it's very simple. pull the fridge out, look underneath(try pulling off the bottom grill from the front for more access), and start cleaning. to much dust and lint will hinder the coils from cooling. A vacuum with the brush attachment or little broom works good.

Disconnect power from unit. Remove the cover at the bottom, rear. Examine all refrigerant tubing for contact with other tubing or other surface. Carefully adjust the tubing to prevent contact vibration.
