If you connect the computer directly to the modem, does it work? If that works then the modem is working. Now connect the computer to the router and the modem to the router. You will need to open the set up page of the router to check the settings of the router. You can set up the router without the CD also. It is very easy. you might need to disconnect your modem for 30 secs then reconnect it . i have just reset my router and then the pc would show a connection but it only went to the router not through to the web.disconnect your modem reconnect then do a reconnect on the pc
You need to first plug the DSL modem into the router. log on to the router. Configure the router byusing the user name and password as supplied by your dsl provider. once the router connects to your dsl provider, you should be able to connect your playstation to the wireless network.
you have to unplug your cable modem before you connect the router. after you have connected the router you plug the power back on the cable modem then the router and you should be able to browse the net
