When you cleaned the carb was the needle replaced. also what is the compression on this engine. if a unit has low compression they will sometimes only run on full choke. is there good fresh gas in this unit. No water..(if in doubt trow it out)

Cub cadet 4x6 big country is not pumping fuel. Will start and run when I gravity feed gas to carb. Checked fuses, cleaned fuel tank, change fuel lines, filters and fuel pump. No change. What now?

Have you tried running the engine on the gravity system with the fuel line from the tank disconnected to see if fuel comes out. if it doesn't, then go back one step and try there. Keep doing this until you find where the blockage is. There are very few things it can be so just work backwards one step at a time.

My cub cadet modle LT1045 doesn't seem to be getting gas. The fuel filter looks clean. If I spray gas directly into the carb it runs fine but as soon as I stop it dies.

Confirm that the choke is closing completely., Check that the fuel pick up hose does not have a air leak. Confirm that the vent hole in fuel cap is not plugged.(common problem)
Remove fuel line hose to carburetor catching fuel output in a suitable container crank engine and confirm fuel pump is working.
Remove fuel bowl and confirm needle valve is not stuck closed.

Hope this helps?

Why wont my 12.5 hp kohler engine not run full throttle and loss of power

it sounds like your carb is gummed up. You can TRY something called SEA FOAM (you can get it from Napa), you put it in your gas tank. It's the poor man's tune-up. Otherwise, you can get some spray carb cleaner and pull off your air cleaner and spray it in there. Hope that helps.

My cub cadet will start but it will not stay running. It acts as if it isn't getting enough gas. Help!

Several things to check....air filter being clogged, fuel filter clogged, fouled spark plug, engine could be flooding--clean air filter service choke with carb cleaner-let set, throttle not opening wide enough, plugged fuel cap,

Cub Cadet has gas, has spark, has air -still won't start/run

Are you pulling the plug to check for wetness after cranking it a few times, WITHOUT using the starting fluid? Also, I would recommend using carb cleaner in place of the starting fluid. Starting fluid runs the engine VERY hot for a brief time and can possibly damage rings, valves, and aluminum parts.

Cub Cadet LT1050 Runs fine..20 min...dies...wait 20 min....runs fine 20 min.

Check the breather in the fuel cap, run it with the cap loose and see if it is any better.
