NDS Lite, R Button does not work

On my Nintendo DS Lite, the R Button is no longer working.

I noticed that I don't feel a click when I press it...

The same thing happend with my gameboy sp. all you have to do is take a screwdriver and unscrew the back. then all you have to do is clean out the gunk that is blocking the button from working.

Ds lite is reading system date error

Known problem with the NDS Cards but here is a temporary fix:Take out the NDS cards and start up DS without them
  • Tap the symbol in the middle of the screen at the bottom that looks like a DS.
  • Tap the blue box with a calender and clock in.
  • Change the date a month or two back.
  • Restart DS with NDS cards in.
Even though this is temporary the people at NDS are working for a solution. But until then you might just have to keep putting the date back.

NDS lite has the power(green lite flashes), but screens wont lit

Hi,

When you switch the DS lite on you should notice that one of the screens flashes... if thats correct then the screen that doesn't flash is the one that will need replacing which, I would assume is the upper screen as judging by what you say has a damaged ribbon.

My daughter has a nintendo ds lite and i have got her a game but it is saying 'system date error please check NDS system date?' any idea if i can get the game to work or is it a write off?

remove game from nds switch it on click on nintendo icon at bottom screen and change date I had the same problem and put my date back by a few months and it worked again but when I tried it again on a different nds its not working but read on here that you have to go either back a few dates on forward hope this helps

it sound as though you have cracked the main board inside or torn the rubber pad underneath the key. does it still work otherwise?

im sure the nintendo company will fic it for you for some money, furtherrmore you can order custom parts for ur NDS online, that may solve the problem.
