SOURCE: I just bought a bunn

on the inside of the lid there are 4 tabs. Take a small thin screw drive, like one used for a watch. Insert it between the inside lid and outside lip of the lid. Do this at all 4 tabs. and the lid will separate. For more help call (800) 286-6070 Bunn's customer service

I have a Techni brew air pot I have to pump it several times to get a cup of coffee

your pump bellows is probably filling up with a slimy black mildew like growth. why they don't offer a replacement for this inexpensive part I don't know since this is a comoon problem with all hot pot pumps. You can disassemble it however and clean the bellow with an old toothbrush and alcohol rinse. Just make sure you press the bellow back to origional shape before reinstalling. Tools needed are a very small screwdriver or thin bladed butter knife. Slightly pry away next to the tabs (the tabs are a molded part of the outer collar) and lift the insert at this area. After all tabs are released compress the two thumb fixtures and life out. Pull bellows lightly from each end where it is attached to the molded plastic parts and remove the spring by unsrewing in order to clean. Tom S.

After removing and cleaning a front loading washer bellow, can you reuse it? Mine had black mold, gross. Would not come ou, broher saud remove it and soak in water bleach mix, and it worked! But can

As long as it has retained it's shape and flexibility there should be no problem. That wire spring that goes around the outside of the bellows can be tricky to get back on. Be patient, wear gloves, get two more hands to hold in appropriate places. You'll see what i mean. Just keep telling yourself you can do it and eventually it will just magically happen. First time i did it i didn't think i'd ever get it and then suddenly there it was...easy-peasy.

The back bellow clamp got detached i have put the front clamp on before but never the back clamp how do i put it back on.

Take the front spring off that secures the front of the bellow to the front panel. (now the bellow should be fully unattached.

Next there is a metal clamp that holds the bellow to the tub it should have a 5/16 hex head (unsure of exact size) where when this hex head is turned clockwise it will tighten the clamp. Working through the door opening you what insure the bellow is positioned correctly and that the screw should be at about the 2 O'Clock position. Tighten very snugly, then reattach the front of the bellow back to the front panel.

Test for leaks... And make sure you are checking on it during your first couple of loads to insure that it doesn't come loose again.

P.S. you may also want to talk the lower kick panel off or look between the front panel and tub to ensure that no clothes fell into the washer when the bellow came loose.

Best of luck.

The bellow or door boot looks warped on my Maytag 3000 series front load washer. The washer is less than 2 years old and I just noticed the bellow looks twisted or warped, but it is not disconnected or...

Check the clamp on the bellow to see if it has come loose and shifted. You may be able to adjust the bellow and clamp and tighten it. If you need the parts, here are the links to them.

Door won't lock shut

Removing the door safety switch:
1. Disconnect the washer from the electrical supply.
2. Release the bellows from the front panel:

Releasing the bellows (door boot) from the front panel:
The front of the bellows is installed over the lip of the door opening in the front panel and held in place by a spring loaded wire loop.

3. Open the loading door.
4. Using needle nose pliers, start where the spring and wire are connected at the bottom of the bellows and pull the wire out of the groove of the bellows.
5. Pull the bellows off of the lip of the front panel.

6. Remove the (2) screw holding the switch assembly to the front panel.
7. Pull the switch assembly into the door opening and unplug the electrical connectors.

Install is the reverse of removal.

Changing the bellow on a duet

Tilt the machine back to create more space between the front on the door and the outer drum. Remove the screws for the kickplate and remove the kickplate for easier access. Open the door and remove the spring clamp holding the bellows to the door opening lip. Push the bellows into the drum to get access to the outside/ rear of the bellows (where it connects to the drum). There you will find another clamp which you loosen/ remove with a socket. Some models have an overfill tube on the top of the bellows (remove it from the bellows). At this point you should be able to completely remove the bellows.

Align the new bellows to the outer tub. Attach and tighten the inner clamp (be careful not to over tighten and periodically check the bellows and clamp placement as you're tightening to make sure it doesn't slip off). Attach the overfill tube (if equipped). Lay the machine back to level and install the front of the bellows to the door opening lip. Re-install the spring clamp by starting at the top and working your way down both sides (may be easier with 2 pairs of hands). Be careful not to overstretch the spring on the clamp.

Test with a quick fill and let it agitate for a few minutes to ensure there are no leaks (be ready to hit cancel and have a few towels just in case it leaks). Re-install the kickplate, make sure machine is still leveled correctly by trying to rock it diagonally from the top.
Let me know if you need more assistance.
Good luck!

If it's stackable, you'll want to start by removing the dryer.
Open the door and remove the outer bellow spring around the bellow to release it from the cabinet lip. At this point lean the machine back to give more space between the drum and the cabinet.
Remove the kickplate for easier access and to visually check for leaks later.
At the top/right of the bellows (close to the tub) loosen the bellow to tub clamp and pull out the bellow.
Install the new bellow starting at the top by aligning the marks. Work your way around until bellows is properly seated snug against the tub.
Replace the tub to bellow clamp and tighten it (make sure the bellow stays snug against the tub while tightening the clamp). Once in place, lay the machine back to level and reinstall the front of the bellows to the cabinet with the outer bellow spring clamp.
With towels handy (just in case), let the machine fill and agitate for a few minutes and check for water leaks. If all is well, re-install the kickplate and wash some laundry.
Good luck!

Worn out bellows

The bellow definitely should not deform in the manner that you describe. When you replaced the bellow, did you line it up correctly? There are alignment marks (Arrows) on the tub and the bellow to ensure it is installed correctly? If the bellow is not aligned correctly, it will twist when the tub spins. If the shocks are worn, the bellow could also deform, but you would probably experience excessive vibrating during the final spin. If you are sure the bellow is installed correctly, and wish to replace the shocks, let me know. There are four of them on your washer. I believe they are sold in pairs. If you post your complete model number (located around the door opening), I can assist you in locating parts.
