Kitchen Aid stand mixer just started going really fast at the lowest speed. I tried checking the sensor as some have suggested but is still goes really fast. It's only been used a few times. Is there another area that controls the speed?

How do I fix my Kitchen Aid Professional 5 mixer that will not change speeds?

The speed adjustment is defective. You will likely need a service centre if you cannot open it up and find the problem and change any defective parts etc.

My mixer won't start

Look for any broken wires on the speed control plate under the back cover. Check the carbon brushes under the side caps. Brushes only go in one way so be careful.

I have had my kitchen aid for only 4 month used it a few times now the lowest speed dosent work .

Your best bet on what sounds like an electrical switch problem is to return it for a replacement. The warranty on your product is for one full year. The store where it was purchased should offer a replacement in a snap as long as you have the original receipt. If not, have you registered the product with Kitchen Aid? If so they will replace or repair it at no charge.

Kitchen Aid 10 speed 325watts

Some of the gears may have broken or slipped off. You'll need t open it up to see why the shaft from the motor will not spin or you will burn out the motor with the power on trying to make it go. It might be a DIY job if you can see an obvious problem like a slipped gear, otherwise take it to a repair specialist.

How do you remome the hall sensor from the kitchenaid pro mixer to replace with a new part

Two small tabs located on each side of the sensor hold it in the motor housing. Pushing one side with a small flat screwdriver while pulling gently up on the sensor will work.
