My printer won't respond. When I ran the troubleshooter I got a message that said files lxdxcoms.exe and lxdxwbgw.exe were blocked! How do I unblock them??

What you need to change is your screen resolution to either 800 x 600 or to 1024 x 768 (in your desktop settings)
What is happening is that your Lexmark all-in-one center doesn't think your monitor can handle the program (or something to that effect).
You will NOT have to restart your computer either.
Just restart your Lexmark All-In-One program and you can start scanning.

Hello,
Most of the Canon printers form the PIXMA iP series block printing when one of the cartridges is empty. You have some options: 1) change the cartridges (with original or compatible) 2) buy a chip resetter and reset the empty cartridges chip so they can cheat the printer that they are full. This way you will clog the nozzles of your print head and the printer will become useless and won't print.
That's why I suggest you to but even cheap compatible cartridges and replace them.

App4R.exe comes up on the screen when I am trying to scan in pictures. it then closes the imaging studio down and won't let me use it.

Please update your printer driver. Visit the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/aKlcOJ. Select your operating system, download and execute the file. After updating your printer driver, try to scan again.

Canon pixma mp 250 won't print. Comes up with error 5100

Hi there.. i understand that you're having troubles printing from your computer because of that error message.. dont worry im here to help you out with that..
Here's what you can do:
  1. At the device or at the electrical outlet, disconnect the power cord or adapter (while the printer is turned on).

  2. Wait approximately ten to twenty seconds and then reconnect the power cord.

  3. Wait until the device has completed its cycling process before submitting another job request.
normally the reason why it is saying that error message its because the printer is not responding so that's why we will need to power reset you printer..

I am getting an error message saying that "lxdnwbgw.exe and lxdncoms.exe are blocked' from my printer driver. It tells me to "allow access." I have Kaspersky antivirus protection. My...

Disable windows firewall then in kaspersky look for exceptions and then try and find the lxdnwbgw.exe and lxdncoms.exe files and make sure it has allow or something like that. also maybe u need to allow outgoing connections in settings somehow. i don't know much about kaspersky 10 but it should work




Kaspersky antivirus is indeed blocking these files. I would uninstall Kaspersky, and dowload the free AVG, which is what I use.

Usb error

To resolve this issue perform the following:
  1. Click the Browse button on the error message.
  2. Browse through the CD to Drivers -> windows 2000_XP .
  3. Select the file hppcp504.cab , and click OK .
  4. The error message "The Software that you are trying to install has not passed the windows Logo Test " appears. Click Continue Anyway .
  5. If the error message "hpc20155.xml on HP LaserJet P2015 Series CD is needed " appears again, follow steps 1-3.
  6. The required files are copied, and the driver is installed and ready to use.
If the issue still persists then perform the following in the order listed before trying to reinstall the software.
  1. Go to Start -> Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Windows Update.
  2. Set the option to Never search Windows Update for drivers .
NOTE: It is important to re-enable the Windows Update function after installing the printer software, otherwise the updates for all the other software on this computer will be blocked. After disabling Windows Update, complete the following steps. Be sure to reenable Windows update after installing the software:
  1. Disconnect the USB cable and remove the device listing from Device Manager
  2. Go to Start ->All programs ->HP ->P2015 ->Uninstall , "OR" Go to Add & Remove and check for the P2015 and uninstall .
  3. Then go to Printer & Faxes . Select the HP LJ P2015 icon and press the Delete button on the keyboard. After deleting the printer icon, go to File and Server properties . Go to Drivers tab and remove any P2015 drivers if listed.
  4. Also delete the following files/ folders C:\program files\HP\toolbox Fx or P2015 C:\documents & settings\app data\tool box Fx
  5. Run the scrubber.exe . Find this on the cd X:\utils\ccc\scrubber.exe & scrubber.ini NOTE: The Scrubber utility can also be downloaded from the web if the original installation CD is not available. However, it is only available as part of the full software installation package named hp_LJ_P2015_Full_Solution_AMWE.exe on hp.com . Once the files are extracted to a folder just open the util folder then the ccc folder and the scrubber.exe file will be visible.
  6. Paste these files at the following path and run the scrubber.exe C:\windows\system32\
  7. Empty the recycle bin
  8. Turn the printer back on.
  9. Now install the printer software again. Connect the communication cable to the PC and printer when prompted during the installation.

Blocked access to free printer driver download

The driver is an .exe file. It is a program. Many (including mine) IT systems block .exe files from being downloaded because of the damage that can be done if not a legitimate file. If you have direct access to an IT administrator, request that they login and download and install it for you.

Old alchemy game will not install

Try this:

Right click on the D:/Poppack-setup.exe -> Properties = Compatability Tab.

There should be a box that says "Compatibility Mode" that you need to chek, and then select Win95 and hit OK.

Try installing again.

If it still gives the same error, go back to the tab and go lower than the Compatibility Mode box, to Display settings, and chek "Run in 256 colors" and "Disable Visual Themes"

Try again.

If it still wont work, please respond. If it gives a different error at any time or a different problem, please respond.
