Need start up disc for digital camera

I lost the disc to the digital camera and got a new laptop. I cannot find on the general electronics site where I could download it. Where else can I download it for free?

You don't need to use the GE software.


The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.


Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Hi, I have vista on my laptop and you don't need any software. There is safe sites on the web that you van use to download software to. Just search for : model of camera and download software (ex: olympus x775 download software.

okay found it, this site makes the mikomi cams and all, just look for your camera model here, m pretty sure it is, lots of Mikomi webcam users got their drivers from this site.

Yes! there is a website called http://driverguide.com/
I went and searched for your driver and it is there.The site is free but you have to sign up and they will email with your sign in info then you can search for you driver your driver is under VIVITAR under CAMERAS.If you need more help leave me a comment and please rank me as FIXYA! if it helps.GOOD LUCK.
