My screensaver will not come up on my computer

Take it back to where you purchased it for another set

If you're running windows 7 right click your desktop select Personalize In the bottom right corner click the Screensaver icon and set it to none

Dell monitors automatically go into power-save mode after a preset amount of time when the computer is inactive. The Dell monitor will go completely black, instead of showing a screensaver. This doesn't mean that your Dell computer has shut down. Instead, this allows your monitor to essentially turn off until it's needed again. You can change how long it is before the Dell monitor goes into power-save mode by changing your display settings.

1. Step 1 Press any key on your keyboard or move your mouse. Either will turn off power-save mode. Alternately, you can press the power button on your Dell computer tower or laptop.
   
2. Step 2 Press any key a second time if the monitor goes from power-save to stand-by mode. Stand-by mode allows the screensaver to appear.
   
3. Step 3 Enter your user name and password into the login prompt if your computer requires a login. Press "Enter" to begin using your Dell computer.
   
4. Step 4 Change the display settings on your Dell monitor to prevent your monitor from going into power-save mode prematurely. Right-click anywhere on your desktop and choose "Properties." Click the "Screensaver" tab and press "Power." Beside "Turn off Monitor," choose a time amount from the drop-down list and press "Apply."
   

Assuming you are using Win-XP, go into control panel, Appearance and Themes and Choose a screensaver. There should be an option below the screensaver choice to adjust Power Saver settings.

the computer most likely goes into screensaver and it is set to logout / lock the computer everytime the screensaver is opened.

right click on your desktop select personalize, look in the screensaver settings. Take the Check out from the box that says, On resume display login screen.

now the computer wont sign you out every time the screensaver comes on.

Sounds like your screensaver is using a picture of your desktop in it's code intentionally.

Right click on a blank area of your desktop --> select properties

--> click screensaver --> change it to "none" or another screensaver

Changing to a less active screen saver

Umm... Screensaver issues can be related to many things. If you want to investigate this further, right click on the desktop and choose "Properties" from the menu that appears. Go to the Screensaver tab and check your settings. Aslo, make sure you have updated antivirus software and perform a complete system scan. This is a good start.

P. 23 of your manual will tell you how to access the screensaver option from the menu of the player. Go to RCA's website if you are missing the manual.

go to Start > PROGRAMS > Dockware. Now click on the top left hand corner of screen. Click on 'Setup' to uncheck the box to Automatically start Dockware.
