Electrolux EWF 1282 start pause button is flashing wont start a load have reset it no error messages came up have also cleaned the drain filter the manual way underneath the machine still nothing any

we played with the load up and down button worked so in 2.30 hrs my load will hopefully be done

Hi terry did you find the fault after all if so what was it? I have the same fault on my EWF 1282 havent used for 3 weeks and now does this!

Hello terry_gwen - Based on the symptoms you are describing, you may either have a communication error from the main control board or the timer itself may not be operating correctly. I understand that the filter has been cleaned, however, if you noticed a humming noise, it could either be a clogged drainage hose, or it could possibly have another issue with the door lock assembly. I would personally contact a professional to accurately diagnose the washer to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts.

SOURCE: Hi, I have an Electrolux EWF 1074 front loader.

Go back and check your connections. If you had the machine working previously and none of these issues were there before you cleaned out the drain area of the unit then your first step would be to check the connection to the pump as well as your connections going from the control to the door area as well. If after you have checked all your connections to the pump the door lock assembly, the control and the touch pad the unit is still doing the same thing then message me back. Before you do any of the checking of connections in the unit first hold down delay and extra rinse buttons together for 3-5 seconds. This usually will unlock the control if the control is locked on the unit. Also if the delay and extra rinse and the checking of your connections does not solve your issue then also message me back with the number of times the pause button is flashing and how often it flashes as well. If you have any further questions message me those back as well. I await your reply Thanks again Rick

EWF 14922 keeps flashing on Pause / Start button. Load finished can't open the door. Have turned it off and on repeatedly. No luck. Pressing pause button won't start it either. Just keeps flashing.

Your washer drain is dirty,have to clean it. YouTube video can help. Just type your made and model and code. It happened to me once,good luck!

How do I fix this problem: The OK light flashes. The washing machine worked for an hour but then this problem happened.

Obviously, an alarm is displayed after some time.
The alarm is displayed by a repeated flashing sequence of the START / PAUSE button with yellow and red light (0,5 seconds on, 0,5 seconds off with a 2,5 second pause between the sequences).
• button indicator START / PAUSE with yellow light indicates the first digit of the alarm code (family)
• button indicator START / PAUSE with red light indicates the second digit of the alarm code (internal number of the family).

Good Morning Mass manana,

I see that you are looking to reset your Electrolux washer due to the fact that the "Start/Pause" button does not appear, and you can't start your laundry. You can reset this appliance. What you will need to do is either unplug it or you can shut the power off at the circuit breaker. When you do this you will need to leave it off for at least 2-3 minutes. Cut the power back on, start any cycle. If you are still having trouble not being able to start the washer, I suggest either contact the manufacturer or your local authorized technician. I hope this is helpful.

Hi i have an electrolux ewf 1087 that wont start everytime i press start it goes straight to drain, like from 2 hrs, it will go down to drain for 2 seconds then down to 0, if you turn it off then on again...

Here are two reset procedures for the control panel that might get your machine working again:

Unplug the machine for about 1 minute. Plug it back in and check the machine's operation. If this doesn't work, try the next reset procedure.

Turn the dial to Off.
Press and hold the start/pause button and the nearest option button. While holding them down, turn the dial one notch clockwise.
The machine will beep or flash, when it does let go of the buttons.
After you release the buttons, turn the dial slowly, stopping at each click until you get to "off".
Now, turn the dial to any setting, then turn to off.
Check the machine's operation.

How can I reset my electrolux washing machine afer an E20 error?

turn the dial to off. Press and hold the start pause and the nearest option button. While you're holding them down, turn the dial one notch clockwise.
The machine will beep or flash, let go of the buttons. Release the buttons, then turn the dial slowly, stopping at each click until you get to "off". Now, turn to any setting, then turn to off.

Now, try the machine. If it works, I'm very happy. If not, perhaps someone else can help.

Electrolux EWF1074 with Error EH0. After 2 seconds of turning on the start and pause button blinks in red. Anyone know what EH0 means? I called them and even they were unsure. They charged me 95$ just for...

In case of error in the mains, or like what happend today at my house, the power lines went partially down, providing too low voltage, EH0 or EH1 will occour. If you also notice that the lightning indoor is somewhat dimmed during this error, the voltage is too low.
