Hi. My son is having a number of problems getting games to play on his Wii. They seem to start to load, then say something like 'refer to instructions'.
I can find no trouble-shooting for this problem. Also happens with brand new games.
I'd appreciate any advice.
Thanks.
Hi
there gilmarei
What
to do when your Wii Has problems with reading disks and you have
tried cleaning the disk.
This
does not mean your Disk Drive needs replacing more often than not it
just needs the laser to be readjusted.
Option
1
You
can send this off to Nintendo if your still in warranty because it is
included in there free fixes so they will do the collecting for you,
fix it and return the Wii to you, all for free, but it will take 4-6
weeks.
Option
2
If
you are out of warranty its the same process as above but its $150 in
cost
Option
3
now
a new Disk drive would cost around $75 for a compatible one and you
may need some one to fit it at a cost as well.
Option
4
What
I recommend is a Wii
Repair Guide that will show you the simple steps yourself, you
will be up and running again in less than an hour and the cost is far
less than option 2 & 3
Good
Luck
