Get a decent piece of equipment. WHY would you throw money away on a bad copier?

Poor contact of the fuser drawer connector may cause the following
error codes: C41~C46, C4A, CD5, E01, E03. To correct this issue, a
spacer (see SPL p25 item 1 attached) has been added between the
fuser connector and the frame; also the springs (see SPL p24 item 8
attached) have been changed to provide more tension.
This change has been applied since January 2003 production:

Do the following.
Hold down 0+8 and turn the copier on.
Type in 690 then hit start.
Make sure there is the number 2 displayed.
Press enter on the touch screen.
Reboot the machine when told to.

The CD3 error is related to the recycled toner unit. the recycled toner is backed up/clogged.
Toshiba made a parts change to the design of the recycle toner unit by replacing a bushing with a roller bearing and a seal. depending on how old your copier is it may or may not have this modification. The copier firmware/software also needs to be updated to the most current version and along with that there are a few internal settings that need to be adjusted.
If you are unable to do any of the above then try this - (it will get rid of the problem short term) clean/vacuum out the toner recycle unit.
If you open the front cover of the copier you will a white plastic pipe sitting at about a 45 degree angle (below the toner cartridge) - this is the pipe that leads to the recycle unit on the right. The whole unit needs to be removed and taken apart and cleaned, inside and out, including the pipe.
The SPC code is related to this issue and should also go away.

Check the control status of the surface potential sensor (05-242).

The sensor detection value is abnormal or the sensor output value is not changed even though
the main charger bias value is changed.

Is the connector of the surface potential sensor connected properly?

Is the main charger grid/wire attached poorly?
Is the main charger attached poorly?
Are leaks and such occurring?

The master password for the Toshiba e-Studio 45 (using controller gl-1010) is 349845. Use a web browser to open the printer's built-in web access: TopAccess, and click the log-in link on the right hand side to use this password.

Press "Clear+8" and u will see the error code.

C-26 code it could be your exposure lamp.. when you turn on you copier keep the document feeder open and see if the lamp turns on...if it turns on and the turn off its ok.
Now clean your white reference guide..it's located under the glass..need to take off exposure glass and clean under it..especially a white strip on the edge of the glass.. NOTE: turn of your copier first then clean after adjustment turn on.
