Question about HP Deskjet 1120c InkJet Printer
I have a hp deskjet 1120c printer with no instructions of how to use the rear feeder for using thick card please could somebody send me information of how to use rear feeder tks
1. Prepare your doc/file for printing.
2. Insert card stock with narrow side of stock in slot in back of printer until it hits rollers and stops. Don't force in any card stock thicker than max. rated.
3. Change printer setup to feed from rear.
Depending on what software you print from, you may need to change this each time you print if you intend to keep printing from that "tray."

The rear feeder can only take one piece at a time. I have had success with 67 lb. stock but not 110 lb. paper. Feed the paper in the rear feeder along the right side (facing the printer) There is a little picture on the feeder that shows you where. When you cannot slide it in any further just hold it there and the roller should grab it. You will hear a short sound of the roller grabbing the paper and if you pull lightly on the paper it should resist being pulled out.
In the printer properties set the Paper Source to Manual Paper Feed and click OK, then go ahead and print. The printer is pretty finicky. Sometimes the paper won't grab and pull through so I have to turn it off and on again and start over again.
