I have a wirless set up in my house but a certain part of my house has a black spot (no wireless signal) I also have a unsed Belkin Wireless G+ router I have considered buying a PowerLine Homeplug with Wireless N Access Point Starter Kit which is double the price of a normal powerline adapter with out wireless built in. Does anybody know if I can use Belkin Wireless G+ router with a non-wirless belkin adapter? My question

Just use the unused one to create an access point.To do so you need to login on the web UI of the router and change to an access point instead of a infrastructure.

do you have a Wireless Router + Broadband modem? when you insert your adapter in the computer do you get found new hardware balloon if not then try with a different computer if still doesn`t then your adapter has gone faulty.if you do get the balloon then i would suggest you to install the adapter with latest driver.take care.

As i understand you have a router provided by your ISP: MTNL, you need to configure the Belkin router in Dynamic mode and not in PPPoE. Then restart the devices by unplugging the power from MTNL router and Belkin. Wait for 20 secs, then power up MTNL router 1st, wait for all lights to get steady and finally power up the Belkin wireless router. Then you will find the modem and internet light lit up properly.
