If you whistling is only happening when pulling back on the machine, the problem is with the connection between the bag housing and the swivel neck. There is a rubber gasket between the two, located on the bottom of the bag housing. Check to see if this seal is in place. Step 1. Remove the vacuum bag housing so that you are only working with the power nozzle or the bottom portion of your Sebo, this will make it much easier to work with. Turn the vacuum upside down, and remove only the 5 screws that I have circled in red:




Step 2. After removing the screws on the bottom of the vacuum cleaner, separate the top housing from the lower agitator housing, sometimes it may take putting a flat head screw driver in between the white and grey colored housing and prying them apart.

Step 3. You now have full access to the belts on your machine. It's most likely the belt that wraps around the brush gear rather then the belt that's attached to the motor that's gone bad. I have never replaced the motor belt in 8 years of servicing Windsor vacuums.

Well there is a 302 cleveland, they are mainly an Australian engine. Identifying one is much like telling the difference between a 351 windsor and a 351 cleveland. Based on the fact that it's from Ford's 335 engine family. 8 cap screws to hold on the valve covers, the block is longer do to the timing chain housing being integrated. The fuel pump bolts are mounted vertically, and the exhaust bolt holes are diagonal. Also, a big difference between an american 302 and an aussie 302 cleveland, is the connecting rods for the cleveland are 6.000''. Where the american 302 connecting rod length is 5.090". Also, referring to a 302 as a windsor is incorrect, it's block families name is the 90 degree v8. The only engine in that family that is properly named the windsor, is the 351 windsor. The 90 degree family also includes the 302 boss. The boss has cleveland style heads, and the block has screw in freeze plugs.

The windsor Sensor brush indicator light will come on when:

• Something stuck in the brushroller
• Brushroller is worn and needs replacement
• height is wrong (indicates a problem with height adjustment)
• a bad circut board/sensor

more than likely your brushroller just needs to be replaced, very common.
