On the back of your tv there will be an input marked VGA or PC input. connect your cpu(computer) to this input just like you do to your existing monitor. then use your tv remote to select pc or vga input as your source for video. mch

Sylvania Model 6632LG shuts down

Check power supply board and inverter board for faulty solder connections and visually inspect electrolytic capacitors for signs of stress or failure. Bulging tops, black or brown crusty material oozing out of them, are the most common. Replace those that are visibly faulty with high ripple current types.

If that does not resolve it, the next step is to test the transistors in the 24 volt section and inverter section primarily. Recapping the power supply 24 volt section is prudent regardless of physical appearance of the electrolytic capacitors.

My tv does not power on and I also have checked the remote/batteries and tried unplugging and plug back in and it still does not work. It is a Sylvania 32inch lcd tv #6632LG

When you press the power button do any front panel lights come on? If so, turn out all lights and then turn on the tv. See if you can barely see a picture or any light in the background. LCD tv's work about the same as conventional flourescent lighting. Each light has a ballast (transformer) and when it completely charges up you have light. When the transformer starts to go bad you get flickering of the light or no light. On LCD tv's you can find capacitors on the power supply that when they charge up the back lights power on which shows the picture. If the capacitors are too weak or shot then the back lights do not come on leaving the screen dark. If this is your problem take it to a repair shop or have a technician come to your house and fix it. Hopefully this is all it is. You can also try to hold your power button in for about five to 15 seconds to see if the tv resets. How old is the tv?

When I pluged tv in it blows internal fuse immediatly.

If it is a CRT TV.

Plz check inside the TV mostly rectifier Diodes, Capacitor , transistor in the powersupply section would have gone short or then Flyback transformer or Flyback Transistor would have gone bad.

Sylvania 6632LG won't turn on.

The power supply may have gone out, that is the first place to look, look for blown fuse, burnt parts, bad capacitors.

No power

since the only thing you did was move the tv i would say you have a loose solder connection inside the set. you can unplug everything from the tv and unplug it from the wall for a couple of hours. see if that helps
