Saeco Intelia Focus Automatic Espresso Machine - Black Logo

Saeco Philips coffee machine display screen doesn't light up? I can still use it and I can see the options but with no colours.

The machine works fine but the display screen just stopped showing colours. I can see the options but they are in black and white.

Saeco Philips coffee machine display screen doesn't light up?

I can still use it and I can barely see the options but display screen doesn't light up

I'm having it sent back for repairs, is there a quick fix for this issue so I do not have to send it back

I had the same issue. The red and yellow lights still worked but the green light did not. There are two screws on each side of the front panel. Once those are off you can pull the front panel off exposing the led screen and wiring. There are 3 small wires coming from the top of the screen that plug into a circuit board behind the screen. The green wire seemed to have a short because moving it around caused the green light to flicker back on. After repairing the wire's contract with the plug connector the green light works fine.

I have a saeco royal coffee machine. The display screen is very hard to read,

Display screen will need to be replaced, since this is a rather old machine, they may not be able to get new display screens, but you can find them on Ebay. The computer is a multi layered style, power board, CPU, then display screen held in with 16 pins.

I own a Philips Saeco Intelia Espresso coffee machine Type HD8751. It is operating fine, in terms of coffee making, but for some reason it has just started displaying in 'black standby mode' rather than...

Not a solution as such but my Philips Saeco Intelia HD8751 has developed the exact same fault and is about 8/9 months old. The machine is being picked up in a few days to be repaired by Philips under warranty. I can only suggest you contact Philips for a repair as this is obviously a product fault.

My Saeco Royal coffee machine is displaying 'empty water container' and it is full - what is the problem

Is the floating magnet in the water reservoir floating ? If yes, you will have to check:
1) the micro switch which is located just beside the magnet (open the machine to check it with and ohm-meter) Check it with a small magnet that you have
2) if the micro-switch is OK with a hand-held magnet the floating magnet may be de-magnetized
3) if everything above is OK, the input on the control board is perhaps defective

Coffee doesn't come out

remove the brewer system and remove the shower screens/infusion screens. remove the bottom screen with a Phillips screwdriver its a little trick to remove but just tip brewer upside down to remove. remove the top screen by holding screen with fingers and turn the knob on top of brewer anti clock wise. its also a good idea to check the grinds and make sure its not too fine. Hope this helps

NEWS FLASH!! A replacement screen IS available. The original part has been discontinued but the display for the Magic Comfort works. The only difference is the color. The original display was orange and this one is green but IT WORKS perfectly. I just replaced it myself. The part number and description are "0332817 Pcb, DISPLAY MAGIC COMFORT". I ordered it from Saeco Outlet @ 800-933-7876
