Question about Dogs
Have a 13 year old red nose red pit bull. At age of 4, he became allergic to corn in his dog food? At age 10 he became allergic to wheat. Then his eyes started to bulge, like his thyroid wasn't working right? Tried several things, but his best treatment is a cup of yogurt a day. And we either do back to basic dog food, duck seems to work the best or we go raw. He eats carrots and apples as treats. And at his age...roller blades with my daughter and clocked at 35 mph. Healthy boy!! (corn is very common to acquire and allergy after prolong usage in humans too! ) Hope your baby gets better!!

Because theycost considerably less and much more convenience, dry kibbles are the mostpopular dog foods in use. But they're not always the best. Canned foods can besome of the best choices available. Although there are situations when feedingeither one might be the better choice, there are also times when mixing the twotogether makes an especially tasty meal.

SOURCE: Can dogs eat cat food?
Dog can eatcat food once in a while without having any side effects. However, cat food ishigher in protein and fat than dog food, so if dogs eat it on a regular basisit can cause them nutritional imbalances.

I don't have a solution. I am looking for an answer. We had a dog that ate an 8 inch x 2 inch piece of tarp and it killed him. Now I have a 8 month old puppy that eats her dog bed, blankets, comforters, wood, fly swatters, you name it. She just had an operation to take part of a rug out of her intestines. Luckily I caught it before too late. I have looked for biodegradable rugs but can't find anything. Other than locking her up and watching her all the time, I have not found a solution. I am sure she will die from something she eats.
