How do I reset the drum counter on a copystar 2050

Clean the feed rollers. Don't use refilled toner cartridges. Brand new OEM toner every time.

press10871087 after counter reast all

needs cleaning and drum and fuser replaced, to reset maintenance counter sim u251 press 1087 1087 \then 251 and reset

press 1087 twice and enter maintenance mode, press 251 and reset to 0

laser unit is under cover where copies exit, remove cover unplug laser unit and then remove 4 screws holding it down. replace unit
and scerws and plug in unit and replace cover and all is well

This is for the Kyocera model but it should work with the Copystar as well. Large file but it is because of all of the drivers that are included.

when the machine shows maintenance it means the maintenance counter is due i.e that the life for the drum unit, heat roller and pressure roller is due. According the manufacturer they have to be replaced and the counter reset using code 251.

this is most often seen when the default drawer is disabled...dashes instead of paper size. to reset drawer try touching 10871087 then 906 and the start button this resets the disabled drawer. also make sure no paper is stuck behind the drawers.
