This is eurotel elite phone handset how do I replace battery

Our Panasonic hand set never worked since we bought it. All the other handsets work as well as the base. We tryed changing batteries and changing bases to no avail. We thing Panasonic should replace hand set as well as it's hand set base "Free of Charge" The model # under the batterie cover is; OGBXBO61363
