WATER LEAK TWICE DAILY THERE IS WATER ON THE FLOOR

if it has an ice maker check the water feed hose for leaks.

also I have a freezer that ices up twice a year. poor design. have to defrost every now and then.

bit confuse with your problem.. are you having a defrost issue or leaking issue? If defrost issue... Check your compressor it is working? compressor - The thing that make noise behind the refrigerator...

This is going to be a tricky one even for me to solve but going by what you say that the dispenser is randomly activating sounds like a keypad problem (item 20 in photo) inside the dispenser control panel found here=> 2224064T Front Cover Assembly Can you confirm your model number for me? water has to be going somewhere. have you checked underneath the car and looked for leaks,has to be one somewhere and if you can see or find one it could very well be leaking in the heater core that is located in side the car. one way of telling if it is the heater core is to fill carpet on floor up under the dash to see if it is wet. could also be in the head itself. many things it could be but shouldnt be that hard to track down...hope this helps some and good luck.

It may be a hole in the water line leaking.

Sounds like ice build up on the freezer coils. Disconecting the water line doesn't stop regrigerant from flowing through the coils since they are still working. Easiest way would be a hair dryer to melt the built up frozen consensation. After you should see no water on the floor and you can turn the water back on (i assume the water is for your ice water and ice cube tray).

THERE IS A DRAIN LINE HEATER ON MOST UNITS now days, if yours is an older one what you need to do is make sure that it's level, and that the drain line is cleared so that the water has a place to go when it thaws during the defrost cycle.

check the pipes on top for leaks and if non then your water heater is leaking from inside and that cant be repaired / larryyb

sounds like the water valve is leaking.If there is some dirt in the valve it will cause it to not fully seal and shut off. If the hapens water will leak by. Replace the inlet valve and your dishwasher will not fill when its not in use
