SOURCE: where is the model number for the kenmore smart reach refrigerator

Here is a Model Number 596.71813101. Tis is a bottom freezer I am pretty sure. Most of the time the are located in the top section(fresh food section). Open the door(s) and look straight to the top. If not there pull drawers and check on side walls. Last place would be if you open the freezer door it may be located right above kick plate on refrigerator lower frame. Sorry there are so many possibilities but kenmore slaps there name on other manufacture products. Good luck and you can contact me at Apco Appliance and Air anytime.

How do you increase the water temp?

Hi Donna:
The temperature is pre-set and is intended to be not too hot to inadvertently burn someone. Increasing the setting can cause a real SAFETY HAZARD, especially if small children or seniors are involved.
With that in mind, there will be a panel that unscrews from the side of the heater. After removing it, lift the insulation back and a dial should be visible. There will be numbers, and a pointer with a screw slot in the centre. Turning the pointer to a higher number will increase the temperature.
If you are going to adjust it, only do so a very small amount at one time, until you reach the desired temperature.
Remember, increasing the temperature will not give you more hot water, it will only give you hotter water. If you need more hot water, consider getting a larger tank or an "on demand" gas fired unit.
STAY SAFE!

Kenmore 70121 air conditioner

There should be a sleep mode button on the remote. Press this then pres ok/enter.
Note: In this "MODE" the selected temperature will increase by 2 degrees F 30 minutes after the mode is selected. The temperature will then increase by another 2 degrees F after an additional 30 minutes. This new temperature will be maintained for 7 hours before it returns to the originally selected temperature. This ends the "Sleep" MODE and the unit will continue to operate as originally programmed. The "Sleep" MODE program can be canceled at any time during operation by pressing; Sleep MODE, "On/Off", "Fan Only" or the "V//X" buttons, on either the Control or the Remote. "Time Delay Stop" limit reached will also end "sleep" MODE.

Fryer overflows often, turned thermostat down from 350 to approx 340 but food does not cook then. could the thermostat be bad? 10 degrees should not make that much difference.

Does the fryer have a" temperature reached light"? If so switch the fryer on and with the thermostat dial starting at its lowest setting increase the temperature setting in small increments. When the light indicates temperature reached, increase the thermostat dial temperature. Continue until maximum temperature reached.

If (starting from cold) the temerature reached light only shows when high up on the thermostats temperature scale, then unfortunately the thermostat needs replacing.

Hope this helps.

How do you set the temperature

If you have an air conditioner with a temperature display, use the up or down arrows on the touch pad to change the temperature setting.

However, if you have an air conditioner with only a dial that goes from 1 to 8 (or whatever number), turn the dial up as high as it goes and put the fan speed on high. When the desired comfort level is reached, slowly turn the dial down until the compressor just shuts off. You will be able to hear when this happens.

If the temperature gets a bit too warm turn the dial up in small increments and wait an hour or so to see if your comfort level is reached.
