Fatal application error when i go to navigation.

One check the sd card for the unit and maker sure it is not locked (yes they do have a lock on them), it will be a small white? tab on the side that will slide up and down. That's the lock.
If this is good and it is not locked, then i would suggest that you check and see if you have an install cd for your unit. If you do and once you verify that you have the maps, I would suggest that you either get a new 2gb sd disk to use in the gps or reformat the original and install the software again.
These types of errors are generally caused when the operating system tries to access a file and for whatever the reason, that file or simply a byte of information has gone missing or is corrupt. The unit can't find the software and spits out a pretty much useless code for the average user.

Your getting fatal error's ? Your going to need to have this services if it freezes! There is not a easy fix for this one..
