I was also looking for the same solution for months, searched many forum sites and tries many method. but i ended up buyin a third party tool Mail Exporter pro.
It works great and i moved all my mails successfully to outlook 2011 safely. also my folder hierarchy was not altered.

The mail needs to imported as an PST or OST file. So you would have to save it as such in Apple.
