Hi Laura,

To change the beltpads on the Maxi-Cosi Opal harness the carseat would need to come in for our engineers to remove the shoulder harness section and replace.

What seems to be a sewn-up loop, is actually easy to unattach, but the trick is not explained in the manual.

Where the end of the strap seems to be holding to the seat's plastic shell, the plastic is not completely connected, there is a break in the plastic. Just move the strap left/right a bit and you will see that you can unattach it there. Then you can unthread the loose end of the strap and completely remove the cover.

Credits for this go to my wife who figured it out after I already thought we should return the seat to the shop. :p

SOURCE: maxi cosi belt protectors

The supplier to John Lewis, Dorel, will ship the maxi cosi loose belt protectors out to you at a cost of £10.

Contact Dorel at:
http://www.dorel.co.uk/contact-us/

Alternatively, call your local John lewis branch and they will be more than happy to contact their suppliers for you.

I called mothercare, and they were not too helpful - the fobbed me off and said call halfords or John Lewis.

Does Maxi cosi pebble car seat cover fit to maxi cosi mico car seat?

Hi
We wouldn't advise a Pebble fabric on a Mico as the models are a different design so the Pebble fabric wouldn't be an optimum fit on the Mico model.
For replacement Mico fabric contact [email protected]

I bought a replacement car seat cover on-line for my Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix infant car seat. When it arrived, I noticed that the white and yellow 'Warning' label on the front had writing in Chinese and other...

Maxi Cosi fabrics only have the Side Protection System tag if the seat they are designed to fit has the SPS technology (not all seats do). Make sure you have the correct fabric for your carseat.

Have purchased Maxi Cosi baby restraint with Easy Base - Iso fix,

The Maxi Cosi CabrioFix and EasyFix can only be used with IsoFix or the seat belt on (preferrably) the back seat. Please don't alter the mounting system of the seat as it will give unpredicable results!

The Commodore name has been around since 1978 so it is possible when you own an older Commodore you won't have any means to fix the Maxi Cosi seat.

If you do have IsoFix and/or seat belts in the back seat then please elaborate on the exact nature of the problem.

With kind regards,
