I recently got a new Epson Stylus CX9400 Fax Series and i'm having to buy new ink cartriges every week almost,after only about 15 prints!The cyan cartridge is the worst;it runs out every week or so.The black is the best,i've had the same cartridge since i got it 2-3 months ago,and it still hasn't run out.Yet the cyan doesn't even last a week!Is this an issue with the cartridges themselves,the printer,or is the "empty" just a false accusation?
Unless you are printing a lot in that color, my Epson Stylus photo color R300 uses black at about twice the rate as the color ones. Most packages or ink, I find, also come with two black and one of every color. All my color ones seem to emply at approximately the same time as the others.
