ESA 42 in, has sound, screen has colored lines going thru.

have almost the same problem left side is black with sometime blue line red lines or a whole bunch of different lines some one help please have sound and right side of tv works fine

it sounds like an rgb problem it depends what your playing thru your tv but if its coming thru a component lead eg red green and blue it sounds like your missing the red feature also it could be a pin bent on your scart which is carring the red portion of the picture , What kind of set is it and what are you playing thru it ?

yes rteh color of the wires(ends)red,blue,green,sounds like they may ahve gone bad or are interchanged, what does it do with a dvd picture

EASY! ok the 4th video processing unit is malfunctioning, if it is a Piano affect like the keys on the piano, then that can be fixed under your 1year warrenty after your 1year warrenty it will cost $200, but i could be wrong, i never studied panasonic plasma casue they ****, next time get a samsung.

42'' ESA plasma flat screen is just snowy

Your alignment is off. Go to the set up menu then convergence. hit right and you will be in the convergence menu. select the color that is not in alignment. The green line does not move. if blue and green are lined up the line will be cyan. if red and green are lined up the line will be yellow. when all three are lined up the color will be light. my esa plasma tv model pdp 4294lv1 has sound and i can switch the tv channels, but the color is blurrier

Hi,sounds like the convergence power supply reg.has failed,when this ic fails the adj. projection tv leaves the menu,this ic is located on the board above the board with 6 heat sinks on it mounted on the black plastic,its the ic that is heawt sinked on this board,part number is 215530

I knead the wire for the spikers I losted and is imposibe to get sound on my TV plasma esa 42"
