My sidekick has very low batterty it wont turn on but can i fix it doing something else by holding the w key

I had this problem with a new phone, and T-mobile gave me the following instructions.

Try this first:
1) Turn on phone with SIM chip in it.
2)hold down the "@" + "1" + "0" down simultaneously until phone turns off, then back on again. This should fix the problem. otherwise try this,

1) remove battery and SIM.

2) press and hold down the "w" key, and while holding it down insert the battery only.

3)A little face will appear on the screen, then a reboot button. Press the reboot button. Once the phone reboots, insert the SIM. One of those two should fix the problem.

you have to press 1+@+0 at the same time and then hold down R until the four symbols come up..

i DId the same exact thing yestrday and i was worried. i started crying mattter of fact. my phone is my life.. hope you have luck

hi hold down 10@ key all at the same time then it will rest when it turns off hold down the r key then when the phone gets to activation screen hold the top left and l key an you should be all set

Try this, though is used for when the device is randomly rebooting aswell, it might help you to force your Sidekick to come back on:

1. Check the device's battery level for at least two bars of strength.
2. If the battery level is low, charge the battery.
3. If the issue is not resolved, remove the back cover.
4. Remove the battery.
5. Wait 10 seconds.
6. Press and hold the W key.
7. While pressing down the W key, re-insert the battery.
   • The device restarts and after approximately 15 seconds, the 'Recovery' screen appears.
     
     
     
     
8. Select the desired language.
9. Select Reboot to restart the device.
10. Your Sidekick should go back to the main screen as normal. Good luck

if the light indicates but its not charging. one other thing you can do is a soft reset.take out your SIM card and batter for 30 seconds then replace the SIM card, and hold on to the R button and at the same time replace your battery, your phone should turn on and restart twice. but it will come on.

i tried to charge it and still nothing

Hello Samantha, You can either take it to danger inc and have them fix it with the labor charge or something or you can have someone fix it for you for really cheap..I had the same problem but now I know how to fix it if it happened again I had to solder the ends back on when I fixed mine

hey, my sidekick3 screen won't light up
and my buttons wont light up either.
and suggestions?! please help
