Blinks red wont come had it diagnosted tech says main board

Found this.... The red LED will only flash in a pattern of 3 when the A-board is defective. The A-board is the main digital board.

The part number for that board is TXN/A1UCUUS. Search that part number and you should find at least a couple suppliers. Used boards are fine usually, just make sure they're warranted.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.

You need to verify the Power board for defective capacitors. You can replace the defective Capacitors yourself if you are a DIY person or replace the entire board if you can obtain the part.

Fault to its main board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

The 3-blink power light code on this model indicates a fault in the A-board (the one with all the input jacks) on the 3.3v line, according to the service manual for this model. The easy solution would be to replace that entire board (Panasonic part# TXN/A1FFUUS), however its somewhat difficult to find in stock now and when you do, it tends to be expensive. I have the same T.V. with the same problem. Currently, I am trying to isolate the exact board component responsible for the failure, but as of yet no luck on that. If I do find it, I'll post back with more information on what the problem was with mine. Meantime hopefully this at least helps you and others with the same issue to narrow the problem down a bit. :)

With 10 blinks it could be any of the following boards, the blinks tell you that is is a power problem

Replace the power module, buy them on ebay

13 blinks means a communication error on the A board (main board). The part number for the main board is TXN/A10PYHS. I would recommend TSM for a replacement board. Good warranty and price.

Hi, this is main board failure and you will need to replace this vital board. you power board is fine but, it is unable to send a proper current through the main mother board due to the damage at hand.

The blinking red light at the the front of the television is the "Diagnostic STANDBY/TIMER LED".
This little red light will blink 2, 4, or 5 times and then stay off for three-seconds. And blink again for 2, 4, or 5 times. This cycle repeats. The most common diagnostic code is the 4-blink code.

When the red LED blinks 4-times, it means one of two possible causes:
1) +13V is not supplied on the A-board. Or, 2) IC502 is faulty.

It is best to take this television set to a repair facility and ask that the +13V power supply be repaired.
The copper tracks and integrated circuit pads are very thin and delicate on the KV-24FV12 circuit board, and will easily lift off of the circuit board, if the incorrect desoldering tool is used. Unless one has a good quality PACE vacuum desoldering unit, one should not attempt to repair the television.
