one of the IDC sensor is bad or dirty must remove the transfer belt then slide the cover that protect the two sensors and clean both. Recommend a tech come out and do it or tone of the sensor is bad

How to clean the IDC sensor while the TCR is giving error 6

IDC requires removing the develope unit then the drum unit then removing the drum .

TCR is located under the developer unit, did you replace the developer , did you clear the counters first, then run the TCR adjustment

P5 front IDC sensor failure.Wipe clean the surface of the transfer belt if it is dirty with a soft cloth or change the transfer belt unit is damaged.Reinstall or reconnect IDC sensor shutter or connector for every color unit and clean the sensors when vacuum cleaner after remove the all imaging units and the transfer belt unit.

Clean them located under the transfer belt when it is removed. after which you need to accurate the sensor cover protectors manually the clean the sensor with a try cloth no static electricity or you will cause the sensor to be destroyed..

Error p 5 konica milnolta bizhub c450

IDC sensors are located under the transfer belt on the right sid eof the machine. Belt must be removed to clean sensors. Once belt is removed sensors are located on a black plastic frame and have slideable covers that can be moved by hand to clean sensors. There are 2 sensors one machine front and one machine rear.

process error - belt (clear by cover)

SOLUTION: Open and close the scanner unit. Reseat the Image Unit and cycle the power to the machine. If the error persists and the machine is covered by warranty, a printer exchange is recommended.
