TV loses power

Several times a day the tv just blacks out. the power lite goes out and the tv goes off. I have to uplug the tv 5 or 10 minutes and when I plug it back in it works until it does the samething the next time. Some days it will work fine all day. Some days it will shut off 5 or 6 times. Any suggestions?

Hi, this is typical capacitor issues. they are failing to hold there charge load. they will eventually blow and render the tv useless. these are located on the power board. i suggest a repair in the near future.

Plasma tv randomly goes black

By the highly technical manner in which you set forth the problem, I can see you are far more electronically savy than am I, BUT just a thought: Is there there any sort of timer setting in the TV menu which may be cutting it on and/or off, and which you have somehow failed to notice? Good luck. . .

My 55ld520 screen goes black, turn off for short time comes back on but then goes black again.

Start simple by using different cables, whether they be HDMI, VGA or standard COAX cables. They could be losing the connection. Also, it's possible the power supply is wearing out and it gets too hot. You might want to simply try some spray air duster type thing to clear out any dust that can make it hot.

TV stops video and audio for about 5 seconds

This model does have some issues, you can try on it to either remove it and a box if used for power for several minutes and then power back to see if that helps.

Soft reset with set on should (using original remote) be Menu, 1,2,3 and enter.

LG 47" LCD FLAT SCREEN

IF IT WASNT DIGITAL HD I WOULD HAVE SUSPECTED HIGH VOLTAGE POWER SUPPLY BUT THAT DOES NOT EXIST HERE.
Well, not completely true; the fluorescent backlight is still a high voltage device, even if only hundreds of volts instead of kilovolts, and either the lamp(s) or the power supply for it (them) is causing the dropout of your picture. When it does it next time, look at the screen from various angles, I think you will see that video content is still there.
