This is the fuel filter weight, push the fuel line through the center flat side facing out, push the fuel filter onto the pipe, now pull the weight down on top of the filter this also crimps the pipe to stop the filter falling off

Homelite leaf blower fuel tank pickup fell off

There should be something going into the tank, a plastic elbow or connector, that will connect the fuel line from the carb to the pick up in the tank. Generally what I do is remove what ever goes into the tank and get a piece of fuel line slightly bigger than the hole and insert the fuel line directly from the carb into the tank. You have to be sure the hose is really tight so to create an air tight seal. Pull the new hose out of the tank through the fuel fill and insert the new fuel filter, push the hose back in making sure it is on the bottom of the tank but has room to move around

Where is the fuel filter located

Get under your car and follow the gas lines coming from the fuel pump. It will be mounted to the fuel line somewhere between the gas tank and motor.

Leaks fuel somewhere around carb area, can't see good enough to fix . I would like to take carb off if i knew how. thank you ...

Sounds like you have an open where the fuel line exits the tank. Remove the screws that hold the cover and remove it. Remove the air cleaner and wash it with soap and water and let it dry, You should be able to see the 2 nuts that will let you remove the carb. Release the throttle linkage, fuel lin,and return line, this should let you see the hoses easier. Make a wire hook and hook the the fuel line, OH drain the fuel from the tank befor doing any thing!!! Now as you pull the line from the tank, help it by pushing down as you pull it from the tank. Clean or replace the filter. Start the hose needing replaced from the top down into the tank, after about 6 in try to hook the line toput the filter on,push as much hose as needed to hook it. Next reinstall.the carb in the reverse. Good Luck.

Tank is lifting on 200 fatboy any ideas?

I assume that by "lifting", you're talking about the tank is rising up off the frame. A Fat Boy, being a member of the Softail family, has a two piece tank. Each tank half is held on by three bolts in rubber bushings. The rubber bushings could be distorting due to pressure being put on the tank from somewhere.

Remove the screw that holds that holds your trip reset knob on and the center nut that holds the dash cover on. Remove the dash cover. You can now get to the three bolts. There are two bolts at the front of each tank half and one back at the rear of the tank that screw down into the frame. They are in the "split" that is between the two tanks. You may have to take the tanks completely off to change the rubber bushings. This will require that you drain the fuel and disconnect the cross-over line underneath the very front of the tanks. Do not smoke while doing this job.

Good Luck

How to install both fuel lines to fuel tank. I see they go in at the bottom of tank but also see that lines have to be pulled from inside of tank. What tool do you use for this? Is there special tool that...

The duck bill valve (vent) is usually attached to a hard plastic nipple that the hose attaches to (in the tank). To route the fuel lines through the holes in the fuel tank, take a scissors and cut a long angle on the line so that it goes from round to half round to a point within about an inch or two. With a tweezer, hemostat or long needle nose pliers, the line can be easily fed through the hole and then pulled through from the other side. Once you have the hose pulled through the tank, the tapered part can be cut off so it can be fit to the carb or primer line. If there is a primer/purge bulb, remember the fuel goes from the tank to the carb to the purge bulb then back into the tank.

The rubber tube that picks up the fuel came off

What brand is a L110?

Normally a pickup tube comes from the top of the tank, and is held in place by a round rubber bushing with a steel fitting in the center. You can remove the steel fitting by pulling it out of the rubber bushing. Many manufacturers in the last 5 years have had problems with rubber lines disintegrating inside the fuel tank, and have come up with a 'special' hose to use for pickup hose. I would suggest getting the 'special' hose to replace it with, as a regular hose will work for about 2 weeks, and come off again. (due to the gasoline/achohol attacking the material of the hose and swelling, it will not stay on the fittings)
It may not be necassary to remove the tank, just use a piece of wire with a hook bent on the end to retrieve the old hose which has a weighted pickup fitting on the end. You will want to reuse the fitting.
