dont doit there are WAY to many of those dukes of hazzard general lee's out there! why not make it your own or restore the beautiful machine? just because you have a 1969 dodge charger you do not have to turn it into a general lee! they are amazing looking and performing cars without that rebel flag and orange paint job. dude MAKE IT YOUR OWN!!! if you turn it into a general lee you will most likely endup selling the car so why not just make your DREAM charger because if you put in the work and effort into your dream car and not the car you seen on tv you will have better results. heres an idea if your hell bent on a general lee sell your car and freaking buy one that is already setup like that insteed of ruining the car you already have? it just doesnt make sence to make a certain charger as common as a Damn Chevy! now i am from ohio i see atleast 6 of those general lees at EVERY car show . they are nothin special. i urge you to make it your own and not a clone

Very simple answer, you can't. You have been watching too many old 'Dukes of Hazzard films where you cut a few wires, twist a few together and rub one wire against some metal and the car magically starts.

Modern cars have alarms and engine immobilizers, computer controlled, so you need a mobile auto locksmith to make you a new chip key, and program it.

When the vehicle was new, they gave you three keys. When you lose number 3 and then 2, you are supposed to get another, or this happens... no key.

I know what you are asking now. Open the radio and look for the modulation transformer towards the back of the radio. see the variable resistor closest to it,turn it all the way to the left while talking to someone and if they loose you then turn it all the way to the right. Put the lid back on and you're done.

New door hinges are a dealer item, get another complete set of hinges for that door from a dealer and have them installed and the door aligned at an autobody shop. Don't let the dealer put them in for you. If the door is rusted away where the hinges attach, get another door from a junkyard or off craiglist. If the car itself is rusted away where the hinges attach, have the door welded shut and enter the car per dukes of hazzard or use the passenger side door.
