Maytag MDB7130AWB dishwasher blows circit breaker.

I ahve a Maytage MDB7130AWB dishewasher that sometimes blows the circit breaker. It is 7 years old and has been doing this for a few monthes. Sometimes it runs a full wash cycle fine, the next time tou have to reset the circit breaker 4 or 5 times to fet a full wash cycle. I have looked for pinched or cut wiring but have found nothing wrong. Any help or ideas would be great. An electrical diagram may help too.

I've had the door panel off, a little water at the botton, but on the opposite side from the wires. All of the wires and connections look good everywhere I can see. I have replaced my breaker , outlet, and the wire between the two. So far it has not blown since, but have only run the machine twice.

These have been known to leak water into the door panel. If so the water can cause a short. Your breaker is keeping the machine from lighting up. Check any seals that may have been braeched in the door. Start at the dispencer latch
rubber.

It sounds like you may have fixwed the problem. It is good to have the dishwasher on it's own line. I hope you used 12/2 wire instead of 14/2.

I know it sounds far fetched but there should be no water in door panel. If it blows again you might have to revisit the panel.

My Maytag dishwasher will not run. It is completely dead. Nothing lights up, etc. It is only a few years old.

Many newer dishwashers are wired to a switch on the wall as a means of service
disconnects in new homes. Also I would check the GFCI outlets in the kitchen area
and possibly the bathroom as well to see if they are tripped. (Press the test button and
then the reset button on them to test). The next thing I would check is the breaker
panel to see if the dishwasher is on it's own breaker. And lastly I would check the
connections to the dishwasher itself (after making absolutely sure power is off to the
wiring feeding the dishwasher at the breaker panel). I hope this is helpful.

Dishwasher Maytag model MDB7130AWB does not clean well leaves residue of food. Have tried standard dishwashing solutions does not help. Trying to clean the flilter below the lower arm and arm itself....

Check the drain line from the washer out, to the drain in the sink. Some how the restriction is causing residue to backup and your not getting a free flow out to the drain. If its a HOSE, disconnect it and blow it out with a vacuum and replace again.

Blew a circit breaker this morning dishwasher wont start all power in kitchen is working this is a 1 1/2 year old dish washer

I am sure that you know that the dishwasher is on its own circuit... and that, in an older home that has been upgraded, the dishwasher may be on a GFI circuit.... If I am correct, you have an open GFI circuit somewhere in the kitchen or in a first floor bathroom.... that is feeding the dishwasher...

If all breakers are 'on" and no failed GFI is found, the the bad news is that the program chip in the dishwasher has been fried...
If that is the case, you may be better off replacing the dishwasher than in replacing the chip in the old one.
