Hi there! In order to be able to provide the definite codes that will allow you to program your remote to your Magnavox Blue Ray DVD player, I would need the type of remote that you have- this can be found on the back of your remote, it would be displayed as something along the lines of 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, etc. To obtain a few codes that will likely allow you to successfully program the remote I used 5.0 because it is a common remote that is used with quite a few of our DISH Network receivers. The codes you can try for your DVD player would be, 829 (most successful) if not then please try the following, 685, 533, 554, or 556. After trying those codes if your attempts are still unsuccessful you can also check the manual that came with the DVD player from the manufacturer or just contact us here at DISH Network - although I do know sometimes the remote codes can be located in the manual. I had rca remote that did not recieve ir signals but rf signals instead. Check online with rca or in owners manual for what type of signal factory remote sends. The dvd player I had was 5 dvd and that was the case. Dish might have an option like direct tv where you can program rf signals as well. Call dish network support or look online

I need the remote mine got lost I hope someone has the code I will get a universal been trying to buy a replacement remote for my. Check on ebay or Amazon maybe find one listed ask the seller for help as I have help others that way, good luck. Ron

Such a code may or may not exist. If none of the codes listed in your owners manual work (you didn't list a model number so I can't give you specifics)you have 3 options. 1) Contact DishNetwork and see if they have additional codes not listed in the manual. 2) Contact Magnavox and see if the have additional codes to try. 3) Purchase a 3rd party remote that works with both devices.
