Need parts for a diesel NS984 car dvd player. Where can I get the parts? The phone numbers I have I am put on hold for hours!!! and cannot find a web site
I need a better phone number or web site to order parts for the diesel NS984 car dvd player. The part you put the dvd in at, is broke and when I took it to get repaired they said I need a part, but can only get that part from the company. They gave me a phone number 888-615-5663 and 310-360-8828. both numbers have the same recording when you call.

Locate your DVD player's brand name and
model number. These can usually be found on the box the DVD player came
in, or on a sticker close to the video inputs or on the bottom of the
DVD player.
Have your remote handy. You will need your remote to enter the input codes into your DVD player.
Locate a Web site that can help you with the codes you need for your particular DVD player, since all DVD players have different codes. Try dvdexploder or dvdunlockcodes.com, they both have an extensive list of codes for almost every kind of
DVD player manufactured.
Enter
your brand name and model number when prompted to do so on the Web
site. If your particular model number is not available, try searching
under the brand name. Sometimes you will be able to find a model number
that is close to your DVD player's model number.
Enter
the codes into your DVD player with your remote. Be sure the DVD
player's door is open-almost all codes require the door to be open.
I've had similar problems with a number of my DVD players in the past. What always worked for me was to fiddle with the DVD door, i.e., press in slightly, press up or down, hold in place until DVD starts playing
try this :
This works on most mini electronic devices like cellular phones and degital cameras etc .
it sounds crazy .
Remove the back (or Cover ) of the phone( or Camera ), battery, and SIM if your phone ( or Device ) uses one , DIRECTLY
.
Then, with a q-tip (or something similar), dab the connection points (shiny, goldish) on the battery, SIM, and phone. This should aid in drying.
Finally, place all contents in a bag of uncooked rice (separately, do not put back together just yet). it sounds crazy , but it draws the moisture out.
It normally is working after just 7-8 hours, but I would wait 12 hours or even 24 hours before attempting to use (just to be sure).
beware the water damage, despite being dry now, will void any warranties. Also, the phone's hardware is now weakened and if you drop it, the green mother board and circuitry could shatter - so be more careful.
This does work on electronic devices aside from phones as well. Simply tailor it to your device. If you do not have a SIM (Verizon phones, cameras, all others), remove only the battery. If you have an iPhone/iPod or GPS and cannot remove the battery, simply make sure it is all the way off, then put it in the rice bag. All electronic devices react the same to the rice trick.

psp get boring dvd players only play videos and music. i phone does everything get the iphone all the way and iphone but it ends up costing so much moeny..psp - pictures movies music games and wifi web browser portable dvd player - dvds on the go iphone - pictures movies music games data apps phone, etc the dvd player will be the cheapest, one time fee, then after that you just need dvds, the psp will be good for more than one thing, making it superior to the dvd player, and then theres iphone. well, with a monthly fee, it may not be what your looking for. but if you need a phone its the best..
Anyone needing to replace parts for a Durabrand item, I located this website after many hours of research. They have a number of replacements parts and they aren't that expensive either. Good Luck
