Hi Caleb,Well, your headset is a monaural device, and, as such, is able to handle the 'Headset Profile' (HSP) and 'Hands Free Profile' (HFP) only, which are suitable solely for handling of phone calls. Your iPod is not a phone, though. It does support the 'Advanced Audio Distribution Profile' (A2DP) and the 'Advanced Audio/Video Remote Control Profile' (AVRCP). So, in order to pair a bluetooth headset with your iPod Touch, I'm afraid you'll have to buy stereo bluetooth headsets. You see, there are plenty of makers and models out there.
Really hope I'm not talking rubish here. Please, bear with me. I'm really getting old

1 Enter Pairing mode. • Turn off your headset and press and hold the talk button until the blue indicator light remains lit after blinking. • If you turn it on for the first time, it proceeds into Pairing mode immediately.
2 Search for and pair with your phone --> turn on the bluetooth with the widget on the home screen or in the settings. (Bluetooth PIN: 0000, 4 zeros)
• If the pairing is successful, the blue indicator light will flash 10 times rapidly before entering Standby mode. • If the blue indicator light remains lit, retry pairing.

TO PAIR UP TWO BLUETOOTH DEVICES -

• FIRST OF ALL GO TO SETTING>CONNECTION>BLUETOOTH>VISIBILITY

CHANGE SETTING FROM HIDE TO SHOW TO ALL OR DISCOVERABLE (IN BOTH DEVICES).

• TURN ON BLUETOOTH OF BOTH DEVICES.
• CLICK ON SEARCH FOR NEW DEVICES.
• IT WILL SHOW ALL BLUETOOTH ACTIVE DEVICES
• SELECT THE ONE WITH WHOM YOU WANTS TO PAIR UP.
• IN OTHER DEVICE A MENU WILL POP UP ASKING FOR KEY ENTER ANY NO LIKE 1,2 AND PRESS OK.
• NOW IN YOUR DEVICE MENU WILL POP UP ASKING FOR KEY ENTER THE SAME KEY.NOW YOUR PAIRING IS DONE,ENJOY SENDING DATA.

Hi,

normally, the pairing has to be done once. If successfull, you can not pair the device a 2nd time withou removing it from the "paired devices" list in your phone. In order to get it recognized you should do the following.
1. check that BT is off on both devices
2. turn BT on on your mobile phone
3. power on your headset. In case, you have paired the headset successfully before, it has to be registered in your phone. It should then automatically find for the paired device (your phone in this case) and connect.
Dont try to power on the headset before turning BT on on your mobile phone.
If you have no success try to navigate to the bluetooth settings, check "paired devices" and make sure that your headset is deleted. Do the pairing and the 3 stepps above once again.
Don forget, that the headsets also have to be charged..

When the pairing process between the E71 and SBH650 starts, try immediately to hold down, or press every half a second, the central 'call' button on the SBH650 - to force the SBH650 to think it is pairing with a new device. It took me 5-10 min of playing about in a similar situation, but eventually the SBH650 cleared it's 'memory' and the '0000' pairing code worked with another telephone...
however, I have never managed to pair the SBH650 with OS 3.0 upgraded ipod touch 2nd gen.
